New Vice President of Curriculum and Instruction
Dr. Melissa Jenkins
2Teach Global is thrilled to announce that Dr. Melissa Jenkins has agreed to come on board full-time as the new Vice President of Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Jenkins comes to us from the University of Mary Washington in Virginia. In addition to bringing her vast experience as a classroom teacher and school administrator, Dr. Jenkins' publications and presentation style are a fantastic fit for 2Teach Global. Just this past year, Dr. Jenkins co-authored a book with CEO Wendy Murawski entitled "Connecting high leverage practices to student success: Collaboration in inclusive classrooms" as well as co-keynoted 3 conferences.
Dr. Jenkins has the personality, energy, organization, sense of humor, and passion for inclusive education that are exactly what 2Teach Global values. We are so honored and excited that she will officially join our ranks full-time in August 2025.

Co-teaching requires two or more professional educators to
“co-plan, co-instruct, and co-assess” (Murawski, 2003, p.10)
One of the ways schools address the demands of students with and without special needs in the general education classroom is through co-teaching. Co-teaching involves having a general education teacher and special service provider (e.g., special education teacher, Title I teacher, ELL specialist, speech/language pathologist) sharing in the planning, instruction, and assessment to ensure student success. 2Teach's CEO is Dr. Wendy Murawski, one of the nation's foremost experts and authors on co-teaching.
